The Intentional Woman: A Guide to Experiencing the Power of
Your Story
-
Do you feel unfocused and disorganized with too many jobs to
do and too many people to please?
-
Are you confused about “what’s next” as you
go through another life transition?
-
Do you desire a deeper connection with God?
Women have so many options—career, family, church, community—that
it’s easy for them to feel pulled in a thousand different
directions and lose track of who they are.
Carol Travilla and Joan Webb have felt the pull of conflicting
priorities and desires, and have faced confusing transitions through
different seasons of life. Together they have developed an inviting,
reusable five-step process using questions, surveys, diagrams, and
biblical guidance that will help women rediscover who they are and
track a path toward a meaningful and God-honoring life.
The Intentional Woman process:
-
Is a practical, personal approach by two women who have “been
there” and “walked the talk.”
-
Is a “hands-on” workbook designed to be read and
used.
-
Is suitable for individual and group use––includes
small-group facilitation guidelines.
-
Lifts the reader beyond the present to see a vision of what
could be.
-
Presents positive life change in the context of a deepening
spiritual commitment.
The
Intentional Woman is a workbook, a Bible study, and curriculum
for helping women grow spiritually and personally. There are group
facilitation notes included with the workbook. It can be used individually,
with a group in a 6 or 12 week study, or as a one-on-one mentoring
tool. It is a unique method for helping women live God-glorifying
lives in the midst of their imperfect and overloaded realities.
During the IW process, each woman works through the following reusable
five steps:
