| The Intentional Woman Process
for Small Groups
The
Intentional Woman workbook is a discovery guide combining both
Bible study and personal and spiritual growth exercises. We designed
it to be used in a large group setting with participants breaking
into smaller clusters for discussion time or in an intimate home
setting whether at the kitchen table or on the patio.
Effective small groups can range in size from three or four members
to six to eight, depending on your situation. Many women are inviting
friends and neighbors into their homes to experience The Intentional
Woman process together. Kay Grove from Colorado hosted an IW group
in her home and said, “The setting in the home, with close
fellowship has been a winner. Women like to share their lives, and
they are eager to participate. This has been a blessing for me as
I have prayed about a study in my home for well over a year, so
this has been the answer.”
What women are saying about experiencing the
small group IW process:
“The past six weeks have been incredible for me. The IW process
has given me tremendous insight as to who I am and who God has wired
me to be.” Karra
“I was feeling like I was in a rut in my life after my divorce
and just didn’t know how to get back on my life journey. The
IW process reminded me God has created me and designed me with gifts.
It helped me get my life in order and get excited again for God’s
plan in my life.” Maua
“The things that helped me the most were the personal stories
paired with explanation. The wheel of life also had a big impact
as I am very visual. It will be amazing to have this tool to return
to again and again.” Shelly
“As a person approaching mid-life, I was beginning to wonder
why I was doing so poorly handling all my responsibilities. This
study helped me identify all the roles I was trying to fill. I could
clearly see that as a slower paced individual I was trying to take
on too much. Thanks for helping put my mind at ease so I can enjoy
the person God wants me to be.” Pat
“I was surprised at how much I learned. I have a hard time
putting my thoughts down on paper, so I really appreciate the examples
you shared. I have already put some action plans into play and will
continue to review with prayer, so I don't lose momentum.”
